PANJABI BY NATURE - HOMEGROWN
PBNs back at it again, the few words left with us from the last album Jaan Panjabi. Hes back for 2009. Its still early in year and we have our first contender, weighing in at 300 pounds in the blue corner - Panjabi By Nature gives you HomeGrown. To physically stay alive we couldnt wait any longer for the release, everytime we performed guests/party people demanded Aashiq!!! Having to to put on our best Bum Faces and say sorry "Not released", "NOT RELEASED WHAT DO YOU MEAN !?!?" was the usual reply.
Waiting inline with everyone else this time round, not thinking Panjabi By Nature had heard of promos or worse still not added us to their promo list, but its with us now and thats the most important thing.
Its a ten track album with all the perks you would expect from a quality producer, featuring the big named artists - Dippa Dosanjh, Sameera, Apache Indian,A.S Amar, Jaswant Nagina, Kulwinder Kinda, Charanjeet Channi, K.S Bhamrah, Lehmber Hussainpuri and wait for it Miss Poooooja!!.
The video for Dancefloor and Aashiq are ciruclated well around facebook etc, so theres no excuses for people saying they havent heard them.
Aashiq as you will already know features Miss Pooja. The strongest track on the album. Miss Pooja tops it with her cheeky school girl voice and character. Followed by another eight tracks they range from wedding boliyan and jago styles, more bhanrga heavies and one in particular by Sameeras Nah reh Nah.
Even though Miss Pooja has taken the light, Nah Reh Nah is a wonderful track, its danceable, romantic, chill out .... its Baddd!!!!.
Hear it for yourself and its available in the usual outlets.
